Agriculturalist of the Year Award Information
The Agriculturist of the Year Award, presented by the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce, is a prestigious honor designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to both the agricultural industry and the local community within Morgan County. This accolade is bestowed upon an individual, family, business, or organization that stands as a true pillar, exemplifying excellence in agriculture and a commitment to community development.

Get ready for a spook-tacular time at the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce Trick or Treat Street! This family-friendly event is a highlight of the Halloween season, offering a safe and fun environment for kids of all ages to enjoy the thrill of trick-or-treating.
Join us on October 31st from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the heart of downtown Brush, where local businesses open their doors to hand out candy and treats to little ghouls and goblins. You’ll also find festive decorations, exciting photo ops, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere as the entire downtown district transforms into a Halloween wonderland.
Come in costume, bring the whole family, and make sure to visit all of our downtown merchants for a chance to collect goodies and enjoy the spirit of community! Whether you're a witch, superhero, or pumpkin, there’s something for everyone.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Brush Date: December 5th, 2025 Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Location: Clayton Street, Downtown Brush
Kick off the holiday season with the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Join us on December 5th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in downtown Brush for a magical evening filled with festive activities, family fun, and holiday cheer.
Enjoy a variety of activities, including:
Warm beverages, cookies, and s’mores by the fire pits
Fun Christmas-themed activities hosted by local businesses
Caroling and live music to spread holiday joy
A Business Décor Contest with community voting for the best decorations
The highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 PM
A special appearance by Santa Claus, sponsored by the Bank of Colorado
After the tree lighting, head over to the Sands Theatre for a free holiday movie to continue the festive fun.
Local businesses are encouraged to get involved by donating S’mores Kits (including graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, and sticks) or by sponsoring the event to have their logo featured on event materials, social media, and the Chamber’s website. To participate, complete a “Christmas Tree Lighting” form and submit it to brushchamberexecdir@gmail.com or drop it off at the Chamber office.

Vendor Information
Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce General Vendor Event Agreement
This agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions for vendors participating in events hosted by the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce. Vendors are required to adhere to the specific guidelines outlined in individual event forms, in addition to this general agreement.
Vendors are classified into the following categories:
Informational Vendors:
Vendors that provide information only and are not required to hold a sales tax or food license.
Craft/Retail Vendors:
Vendors that sell tangible items require a valid Sales Tax License or a DR 0589 Special Event Sales Tax License.
Food Vendors:
Vendors that sell food or drink products, which require a Food License or other food safety certifications. This includes vendors selling under the Cottage Food Act of Colorado and/or other required food safety certifications/licenses.
Vendors are responsible for properly disposing of all waste generated by their booth.
Food Vendors: Must dispose of grease in approved grease receptacles as outlined by Northeast Colorado Health Department and cannot dump grease into public sewer drains. Violations will result in immediate removal from the event and notification to the Health Department.
Craft/Retail Vendors: Must manage their packaging waste.
Vendors must take necessary steps to ensure their booth area remains clean during and after the event.
