Hope the holidays were well! Some updates from the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce coming into the new Year is as follows.



21st Ag Appreciation Dinner

21st Ag Appreciation Dinner

We will be having our 21st Annual Ag Appreciation Dinner on January 27th 5:30-8:30pm at the Mark Arndt Event Center. That is right, Ag Appreciation is in January this year with our Annual Banquet being slated for March 28th. We will have informational booths from businesses, be serving dinner, door prizes, a speaker from our local FFA, Agriculturist of the Year Award, and a panel hosted by our local Ag Broadcaster Lorrie Boyer. Be sure not to miss it!


Tickets are given to sponsors for the event to be passed out, or can purchased individually before the event at the Chamber office or at the door during the event for $40.

Agriculturist of Year Award Nominations:

Want to nominate someone in the Ag Industry to be commemorated at the Ag Appreciation Dinner. Can be an individual, family, business, organization in the Ag community who has made a positive impact. A farmer, Rancher, teacher, or advocate is who we are looking for to celebrate at this event. If you would like to nominate someone see the nomination form below give us their name and a few words of why they should be commemorated for this award. Be sure to get your nominees in by the deadline, end of day Friday January 5th!!


Board of Director Elections

We had our board elections over the last few months of the year. We are pleased to announce that we have a our final slate of oncoming Board of Directors who will be joining our organization in their new capacity in our regular board meeting at the end of month. Help us congratulate and welcome our new Board Members.

Business Community Preservation Program through OEDIT

Back in November, the Foundation voted to sponsor an application for the Business Community Preservation Program through OEDIT. Over the last month we received applications and reviewed applicants to assemble our cohort of businesses for the application. Updates have been sent to all of those businesses that have applied. Thank you all to those who applied for this program!
