Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Brush on Clayton Street! Festivities kick off at 4:00 PM on December 6th, with an evening filled with holiday cheer, family-friendly activities, and treats for all ages.
Enjoy a variety of activities, including:
Warm beverages, cookies, and s’mores by the fire pits
Fun Christmas-themed activities hosted by local businesses
Caroling and live music to get everyone in the holiday spirit
A Business Décor Contest with community voting for the best decorations
The highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:00 PM
A special appearance by Santa Claus, sponsored by the Bank of Colorado
A free movie of "Elf" at the Sands Theatre presented by Vero Broadband.
Regi the Reindeer at Headley Tax Service "presented by East Morgan County Library.

Ag Appreciation Dinner 2025
Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce's "Ag Appreciation" event on January 31st, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Mark Arndt Event Center. Celebrate the vital contributions of our local agricultural community with an engaging program. Connect with fellow community members, farmers, and business leaders while enjoying a delightful dinner showcasing the region's agricultural bounty.
In addition, we are happy to announce this year the introduction of a silent auction in tangent with the event to raise funds that the Chamber is looking at putting into "Agro Scholarships". Providing Scholarship Opportunities for those FFA and 4H students from Morgan County who are looking at furthering their education.
This event is a unique opportunity to express gratitude for the hardworking individuals who drive our agricultural sector forward, fostering community spirit and appreciation for the backbone of our local economy. Don't miss out on this enriching experience highlighting the importance of agriculture in our community.
Also returning, is our Agriculturalist of the Year Award. The Agriculturist of the Year Award, presented by the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce is a prestigious honor designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to the agricultural industry and the local community within Morgan County. This accolade is bestowed upon an individual, family, business, or organization that stands as a true pillar, exemplifying excellence in agriculture and a commitment to community development.
Criteria for Selection:
Passion for Agriculture, Community Engagement, Leadership and Mentorship, Positive Impact, Adaptability and Resilience.
Chamber Luncheon December 11th
Join us for the Brush Chamber Luncheon, a premier quarterly event hosted by the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce. These luncheons offer a unique blend of delicious meals, valuable information, and excellent networking opportunities, designed to foster connections and growth within our business community.
Welcome Center Request
As a Chamber of Commerce, we are also a Welcome Center in the community. The Chamber has a display with community information including flyers, pamphlets, and contact information. In addition, we prepare welcome packets for new community members. With that said, we would like to request new and updated materials from businesses and organizations that are part of the chamber that we have not received items in a while as we are running low on several items. Materials can be dropped off at the Chamber office, or we can be given notice to pick items up by emailing brushchamberexecdir@gmail.com.
Also, beginning next week until the 20th of December, we shall have cookies, fudge, and some other goodies for any members who may want to stop in and say hello. Please note, that the Chamber will be closed from December 21st - January 1st and will reopen on the 2nd of January.
Funding Opportunities
The City of Brush! seeks to enhance the investment in our local businesses and business infrastructure in partnership with community organizations to further build our local economy through the City of Brush! Commercial Asset Reinvestment & Enhancement Solution (C.A.R.E.S.).
Also, in tangent with the Historic Preservation Board (CLG), the Chamber can partner with private business owners on State Historical Fund Grant Programming and connect owners with other resources for building rehabilitation. If you are interested in learning more, be sure to connect with us today!

Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation can cover up to $150 of direct learning session fees for members through our Training Reimbursement Program.
